Two settings, both about the pill that sits on screen while Blabb is running.

Floating window visibility#

How solid the pill looks. It starts fully opaque at 100%; at 10% it is barely there.

The reason to drop it is simple: the pill is always on screen, and sooner or later it comes to rest over something you need to read. At 50% you can read straight through it and still see it well enough to know Blabb is listening. Below about 20% you will lose track of it entirely, which is fine if you know your shortcut and never look.

You can also drag the pill somewhere less annoying — it stays where you drop it. Try that before turning it invisible.

Listening indicator color#

The colour the indicator goes while Blabb is listening. Three choices:

  • Default — Blabb's own colour.
  • Windows accent — follows the accent colour you set in Windows, so it matches everything else on your desktop and changes when you change that.
  • Custom — reveals a colour picker and uses whatever you choose.

Pick something you will notice against the window you dictate into most. If you have taken the opacity down, a stronger colour buys back some of the visibility you gave up.
