Dictation for the desktop
your IT department locked down
Clipboard redirection: disabled. Browser extensions: banned. Win+H: blocked. If you work in Citrix, RDP, or VDI, you've watched every dictation tool fail the same way. Blabb was built for exactly this room.
The clipboard was blocked on purpose. Blabb was built on purpose.
It types, it doesn't paste
Dictation tools usually deliver text by pasting from the clipboard — the exact channel your org disabled. Blabb sends text into the focused window key-by-key, like a very fast typist. Four input methods — you pick one, and can override it for a particular app — so text lands even in nested sessions.
It runs on your side of the glass
Blabb runs on your local PC, not inside the remote session — nothing to install on the corporate image, nothing for the session to block. Whatever window has focus gets the text, remote or local.
Nothing leaves your machine
Speech recognition and AI cleanup both run on your own CPU or GPU. No audio or text is uploaded. For the finance, healthcare, and consulting environments that lock desktops down in the first place, that's the point.
Limit: Blabb can't type into elevated/admin (UIPI-protected) windows — a Windows security boundary, not an app choice.
Clean text, not raw transcription
Press a hotkey, talk naturally — pauses and rambles included. On-device AI removes filler words, fixes punctuation, converts spoken numbers to digits. Its cleanup prompt instructs the model never to add content you didn't say and never to act on instructions inside your dictation. Six writing styles from verbatim to professional. A personal glossary learns your product names and jargon from corrections — stored locally, like everything else.
